International Audiovisual Exhibit for Health Sciences "Videosalud2008" will be held in Havana to favor exchange and cooperation among health institutions and professionals.
Running from September 29th to October 3rd, the meeting is aimed at encouraging creative activity and spreading audiovisual scientific work of high ethical, aesthetic value, mainly oriented to health priorities in Latin America and the Caribbean, the website of the National Center for Medical Sciences Information (INFOMED) said.
Audiovisual works about health sciences in the categories of documentary, multimedia, information, educational, TV program, film and unpublished script will compete.
It is expected to be a meeting of science and culture for health and integration of the peoples, according to organizers.
