Camagüey-based Teatro del viento theater group opened the season of this discipline here that will extend until next Sunday, with the participation of local ensembles and others coming from different parts of Cuba.
Aside from those places that customarily had been used as stages, now there are others like the Plaza de Maceo, the Castillito del Casino Campestre and several schools that will open their doors after classes.
Cuba's acclaimed companies like Mefisto Teatro, Teatro del Círculo, El Menjunje, Adarga Teatro and Teatro Ambulante will come to this eastern province to take part at the theater season organized by the Scenic Arts Council in Camaguey.
Representing the locals are Camaguey's Dramatic Ensemble, La Edad de Oro, Teatro del Viento, Circ Clown and La Andariega. All these groups will showcase new productions of their repertoire.
