The cultural project Guerrilla de Teatreros (Theater Guerrilla), which takes art to faraway areas, will kick off its 18th annual tour this month.
On this occasion, the artists will perform in the Sierra Maestra mountain range, especially in the municipalities of Bartolomé Masó, Pilón and Media Luna, in Granma province.
They will perform in three dozen towns and will hold workshops, debates and other activities in schools and cooperative farms.
Performances will consist of theater, magic, music, literature, cinema and plastic arts, in addition to talks on social prevention.
Guerrilla de Teatreros, founded in 1992, won the 2003 Somos Patrimonio Award, granted by the Andrés Bello Agreement.
