A Cuban woman expressed feeling immense pain after her pet, a Chihuahua named Milan, went missing. Yahima Tamayo Cuello shared photos of her dog on her Facebook profile, pleading for empathy from anyone who might find him to help get her beloved pet back.

"I don't care if I have to pay; I just ask for a little empathy. Whoever sees him, has him, finds him, please return him to me. Nothing else matters, not the money or anything," she pleaded desperately.

Yahima provided her phone number for anyone to contact her if they find the dog. Her cell number is (+53) 52 597 377.

Heartfelt Message of Hope

In a message tinged with resignation, Yahima concluded by saying, "I only wish, in case you never return, that you find a happy home and are given love. My beautiful Milan, my lovely puppy, how much pain... I hope miracles do exist and that you come back to me. I love you, my puppy."

Announcements offering rewards for lost pets have surged on social media. In April, a young Cuban man offered a 50,000 pesos reward for his lost dog in Havana to anyone who could return or provide information about the dog's whereabouts. Days later, he announced that the dog had been found, although he did not specify if he had to pay the reward.

Recently, a Cuban mother from Guantánamo offered a 10,000 pesos reward for anyone who could find her son's lost dog. Yamileidis Domínguez Castillo shared a photo of the pet and her son, who was deeply saddened by the loss, in the Facebook group "Revolico Guantánamo."
