With the aim of demanding the island's liberation and protesting against alleged collaborators of the regime, a group of Cubans will demonstrate next Sunday at the Plaza de las Banderas at Miami International Airport.

Activist Marcel Valdés shared in an interview with Alex Cuba Urbano on the social network X that after a long time, they were finally authorized to hold a demonstration at this location, where regime allies from Havana usually protest.

Valdés mentioned that the organization Puentes de Amor, led by Cuban-American Carlos Lazo, will also demonstrate at the airport on Sunday, and that they will join the protest. He indicated that the 10:00 AM call is led by Exilio Unido Ya (EUY), which brings together various opposition organizations.

The activist emphasized, "We will be there bringing the truth about Cuba, showing the world that there are political prisoners in Cuba, and dismantling the circus of those accomplices of a murderous dictatorship."

This is not the first time that this group has confronted the Puentes de Amor project. In April, Ramiro Collazo, leader of the group of Cuban exiles called EUY, confronted a man named Carlos Manuel, known as Indio Taíno, criticizing his support for the Castro dictatorship. The confrontation took place in Homestead during a May Day event organized by Cubans who sympathize with the regime.

"Cuban exiles integrated by the group Exilio Unido Ya, activists, and former political prisoners, who also call for an anti-communist demonstration on the last Sunday of every month, went to Homestead to tell these accomplices of tyranny all the truths they deserve," Valdés recounted on Facebook.

In May, the group members faced pro-Palestinian protesters when they noticed a scarf placed on a bust of José Martí in Coral Gables, a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Ramiro Collazo and Joel Riverón, who advocate for democracy and the freedom of political prisoners on the island, halted the act of desecration along with Miguel Giménez, a local resident who was outraged by what those accomplices of terrorism were doing, as reported by Marcel Valdés on his X account.
