Florida quintet greatly admired by the Cuban audience

Presented in Oratorio San Felipe Neri, a 17th century church that was later a bank and then converted into a theater, the quintet's concert was the opening episode in a multiyear cultural exchange with Cuba that has raised the orchestra's profile in the Tampa Bay area and now created a sparkling first impression in Cuba. Members from the Cuban Jewish Community celebrated the eve of Rosh Hashanah with Alan Gross

<p style="text-align: justify;">Havana, Oct 1, 2011 (EFE via COMTEX) --The president of the Jewish community in Cuba, Adela Dworin, said Saturday in a communique sent to Efe that she and the organization's vice president, David Prinstein, visited Gross on Sept. 28, the eve of Rosh Hashanah, at the center where he is serving his sentence. Cuban film Ticket to Paradise in Spain at the end of October

Cuba expects good results in World Baseball Cup

Havana Club marketing campaign inspired by Havana City

<p style="text-align: justify;">In 2010, the company developed a global marketing campaign inspired by the city of Havana, tagged ‘Nothing Compares to Havana.’ Without even mentioning the rum brand, the advertisements simply highlight culture and life in the city. Havana Club also added “Selección de Maestros” last year, a ultra-premium rum in a new high-price category. Despite a drop in Spain, sales of Havana Club rum worldwide rebounded 10 percent to 3.8 million cases during the 2010-11 financial year, Pernod Ricard SA said in its annual report. Read More
