Publicity billboard announces Pablo Milanes' performance in Miami

<p style="text-align: justify;">As part of the cultural exchange between the US and Cuba, Pablo Milanés will sing at the American Airlines Arena and the concert is being announced by different media including radio and TV, publicity billboards and neon signs. Billboards have been paid by Fuego Entertainment Inc, its president Hugo Cancio has represented many of the Cuban artists performing in Miami. Cuba court to rule on US spy case in ‘coming days’

<p style="text-align: justify;">Cuba’s high court will rule in “coming days” on the appeal from US contractor Alan Gross, who was sentenced to 15 years in jail for illegally distributing Internet equipment, a government website said on Friday. Gross, 62, was arrested in December 2009 for bringing satellite phones and equipment to the communist island’s Jewish community while working as an independent contractor for a USAID-funded democracy building program. Ecuador expands power agreements

<p style="text-align: justify;">In what could be more than $100 million in sales for foreign suppliers of fuel-oil generators to Cuba, Ecuador’s electricity minister signed an agreement under which Cuba will provide 110 megawatts of thermal power to the South American country, official media reported. Two additional agreements, signed by Ecuadorean Electricity Minister Esteban Albornoz and Cuban Basic Industries Minister Tomás Benítez in Havana, cover&nbsp; ”efficient ways for training in the electric sector” and cooperation in energy efficiency.
