The rent of private houses in Cuba, more than a choice for tourism
On August 1997, the National Office for Tax Administration (ONAT) together with the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Interior announced officially the legal rent of rooms for tourist people in private houses in Cuba.

Bio-Meteorological Weather Forecasting, a Scientific Novelty
Cuban scientists have designed a bio-meteorological forecasting system aiming at determining with enough advance time, when atmospheric conditions can lead to a sudden rise in a group of chronic and non-communicable diseases, including bronchial asthma, high blood pressure, cardiovascular problems, headaches and other pathologies.

First part of the Cuban delegation travel to Rio for Pan Am Games
The first group of the large Cuban delegation to the 15th Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro traveled on Friday to Brazil. The advance group is formed by 200 athletes of eight disciplines including badminton, handball, fencing and taekwondo.

Cuba and, its long time partner, Russia renew civil aviation relations
Cuba and Russia have renewed their alliance in terms of civil aviation. The deal includes promises of increased cooperation related to services and training of crew, which will cover tourism, cargo and passenger services as well.
