This May 15 will be delivered in Havana the Latinity Prize 2007 for poet Roberto Fernández Retamar. The accolade, sponsored by the Union Latina de Cuba was conferred also to this eminent professor, essayist and current chairman of Casa de las Américas, due to its relevant presence in the Cuban literary production

Eugenio Hernández Espinosa, one of the most outstanding playwrights in Cuba, is receiving around these days in La Habana, a deserved tribute of admirers, cultural institutions and friends with motive of his 70th birthday.

Delegates from 20 countries have confirmed participation in the 12th Congress of the Cuban Nursing Society, scheduled from May 28 to June 1 in Havana.
