Look at me: Brazilian Photography in Cuba

On passing through Havana, Albert Einstein spent only a few hours here in December 1930 being en route to Californias Technological Institute in order to make some practices at the Mount Wilson Observatory, then the most sophisticated in the world.

First scientific book written in Cuba

Between 1663 and 1672 the book Arte de Navegar considered first Cuban scientific volume came to light authored by Spanish doctor from Sevilla Lázaro de Flores, who had graduated in 1647 and come to work in Cuba, where he wrote the said book a decade after his arrival in this city.

Montserrat and Cuba to benefit from cultural exchange programmes
