Cuban women's table tennis team for Pan-American Games
The Cuban women's table tennis team have classified for the 15th Pan American Games, to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 13 to 29, one of the two teams from Latin America attending the regional event.

Operation Miracle Comes to Jaguey Grande, Matanzas
Nearly 19,000 people with cataracts and other eye diseases have been operated on in hospitals in the province of Matanzas in recent moths, thanks to the Operation Miracle program.The majority of those benefiting come from other Latin American nations but also included 4,430 from the host province.
